I’m a little disappointed in this product. It seems to be a little weak and slow cutting when in use. I put a fresh battery in it from the beginning, and replaced with another fresh battery, but it has made little difference.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi there, thank you for your review. we are sorry to hear that your trimmer is not performing well. If you have confirmed that your Philips Nose Trimmer has a full battery and it is still not working, then it may not be working because it is dirty and the cutting unit is blocked. We advise that you clean your nose trimmer after each use for optimal performance. If rinsing the trimming head under the tap is not sufficient, immerse the trimming head in a glass with warm water for a few minutes. Do not put the handle of the trimmer in the water, as this can damage its internal machinery. If this does not help, detach the nose trimmer attachment and soak this part separately in water for 8 hours. You can also lubricate the trimming head with a drop of sewing machine oil every six months.

Waste of money

I bought this item for the simple fact I have used plenty of your other hair grooming trimmers and they worked completely fine. This item would hardly trim anything. Extremely disappointed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Before trimming, make sure your device is clean and your nose and ear are free from any mucus or wax. After using the nose trimmer, it is normal to observe remaining hairs. The hairs will be cut to a short length so the remaining hairs will continue to provide safe and comfortable protection (as a defense system to keep particles out of the body). A really good travel trimmer

This is a really good travel product. I really like the eyebrow trimmer. It works quite well.
Also, I like how it works in the nose and the ears.
I have another Norelco/Phillips product that can be used also for body trimming, so that is why I say that this would be best for a travel product.

I think the product is useful and well designed.
The use of the trimmer was easy, no issues.
I think the trimmer should come with a small storage bag to store the product when not in use.
The packaging can be improved. It was a effort to open the package.

Excellent nose trimmer!

The Philips Norelco nose trimmer worked great overall at its main purpose, trimming nose hairs. I have used a different nose trimmer in the past that had the trimmer exposed. This model has some sort of a built-in guard over the actual trimmers so that you don't have to worry about it pulling nose hairs or cutting anything inside your nose. I have very thick nose hair and this trimmer worked great. No pulling and it trimmed the nose hairs nicely. The trimmer blades cut nicely and the shield fit perfectly fine into the nostril. I've been using this trimmer for a couple of weeks and the battery life seems to be excellent with the nose trimmer still performing just as it did when I installed a new battery. The trimmer came with a little mini brush to clean the hairs off the trimmer, but cleanup is super easy since you can rinse it to remove the hairs. I also used this trimmer to trim my eyebrows, which it did a good job of. It was a little awkward at first to use it on the eyebrows as the handle seemed to thick and I couldn't get the right angle I wanted, but after some use I figured it out and use it with no problems. I also used it to trim ear hairs. It did trim the ear hair, but for my ears I prefer a very close shave. This trimmer left some very short ear hair which I'm sure would be fine for some people, but that's not my personal taste. Overall, this is a great grooming tool for anyone looking to safely and gently trim nose hairs with the added bonus of eyebrow and ear hair trimming!

I’ve tried other similar electric trimmers so I didn’t expect much but I was extremely surprised. This Norelco was very sleek and worked fantastic. It seems to be well crafted and made to feel great in the hand. I didn’t have any problems using it and was pleased with the results after using it. it’s small and doesn’t take up much room in my shave bag and would even consider putting one in my car for on the good emergencies.

The norelco nose trimmer has a great look and sleek design. The added eye brow trimmer is a great feature and design. When it comes to the function it does not meet the expectations. My nose hairs were not trimmed properly and it seemed to be a poor design in serving the function.

The Norelco nose trimmer is a very good product. Most noticeable feature is the design of the blades, rather than moving in a circular motion they move up and down. This does a better job of trimming and unlike with a circular blade I did not notice any pulling of the hairs. Another nice feature is it came with an attachment to be able to trim your eyebrows. I found it work very well. It is a very simple product but the instructions were very clear and easy to use. The design makes it easy to hold and changing the battery is very easy as well. It also comes with a small brush for cleaning in between use. About the only improvement I would like to see is a holder or bag to keep all accessories together as the eyebrow attachment and brush are small and may be easy to lose.
