[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the very best nose and ear trimmer I have ever had. Only issue I have is that at times it will not start and it takes time to get it to start. At times changing the battery will not resolve the issue but when it does start it is a great product. This is the second product i have had and they both have the same problem but as I stated this is the best result I have ever had and it is very comfortable-

I can't use it. I had to go back to my old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is very noisy in my ears and does not trim the hairs. I went back to my old Philips trimmer 0814. I can see and hear it trimming the nose and ear hairs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for taking the time to leave this review. We're sorry to hear that the performance of the Norelco Nosetrimmer is not what you expected, and that you went back to using your previous trimmer. Unfortunately some noise from the trimmer is inevitable. If you feel that it is abnormally loud, however, please contact us.
To ensure optimal performance of the Nosetrimmer, we recommend cleaning it immediately after each use by following these detailed cleaning instructions:
1. Use the cleaning brush to remove any excess hair from the cutting element.
2. Rinse the cutting element of the trimming head with hot water.
3. Switch on the product and rinse the cutting element once more to remove any remaining hairs. Then switch off the product again.
4. Rinse the combs with lukewarm water. You can also use the cleaning brush to clean the eyebrow combs.
5. Carefully shake off excess water and let all parts air dry. Let all parts dry completely before you use the product again.
Tip: If rinsing the trimming head under the tap is not sufficient, immerse the trimming head in a glass with warm water for a few minutes. Then switch on the product and rinse it under the tap.
