I have only had it on my new IPhone XS for 1 week now .
It appears solid and should offer good drop protection .
I have the black and clear , and I am surprised at how easy it is to scratch the clear back part . But I’m sure it won’t even matter to me after the thrill of a new phone subsides.

Otter box claims it is their most protective case, and it’s slimmer than the defender, so it was a no brained to get. With the case the phone fits ok in a shirt pocket. The case covers the non-screen areas of the phone so that the color of the phone is not visible. The fit is very precise. So far I only dropped the phone once and there was no damage to either the phone or the case. I like the case.

I have had my case on for over 2 weeks and it has been nothing but great! It has a great grip and enough of a lip on the front of the case to protect it from drops. I see no issues with the case but you may need to watch the tutorial on how to get your phone into it. Great purchase!!

This is a greater case had on iphone8 now have one for iPhone X’s. The only complaint was that it was very difficult to install. Was a little hard to set mute button.

Otter Box is best there is in cases for phones

Not my first time with Otter Box. Other two times I bought the Defender which are still great and do show wear and tear. Saved iphone multiple times when I dropped them. I being hearing impaired I this time I bought PURSUIT in the color MERLIN because there are holes in front bottom edge that let sound come through. And I can hear sounds better with this case. I'm pretty active, boating, camping, fishing, farm work. Otter Box is best I ever had. I expect the PURSUIT just purchased to be just a great as the DEFENDER or better. Either of these models, don't hesitate to buy it. You won't regret it.

Love the much more compact design than my previous Defender cases but not a fan of the reduced value for money! No stand or belt clip included. Also the clear Perspex back very quickly gets scratched and looks tatty.
Also an issue is the ingress of pocket lint etc in between the back and the phone. This looks poor but hopefully grit won’t get in too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
