NOT GOOD FOR 240-V

This part number is actually two APC items bundled together. Quoting a Tech Support Chat from March 4, 2016 "The SRT3000RMXLT-5KTF is a bundled sku that comes with the UPS (SRT3000RMXLT) and the stepdown transformer (SRT5KRMTF)."
The problem is that this transformer is only rated for 208-V input, while the Technical Specifications for this bundled SKU SRT3000RMXLT-5KTF indicates it can receive 240-V. An APC sales associate recommended this product to me for 240-V input and 120-V output, but this solution is specifically not rated for this.

Although the UPS itself can support 240 vac, it is also true that the bundled step down transformer is rated for 208 vac input only. Our product management team has been notified and they will work on clarifying the information on our web site. Our pre sales teams have also been notified, so we can ensure all agents are on the same page moving forward.

Most Inexpensive APC Double Conversion 208V UPS!

It’s hard to argue with *DOUBLE CONVERSION* topology for the best quality power available. It appears to me that this is the least expensive way to obtain this method. Great value here, if you don’t need more than 3kVA. Highly recommended!

Best 1500VA UPS Available!

With the up-scale 3-color LCD backlighting, "Smart Battery" (temperature compensated) charging management and dual conversion technology, this is almost certainly the best performing 120V, NEMA 5-15P plug UPS available. Extended run battery shelves are available, too!

Most Inexpensive "Newest Generation" UPS Available

This is absolutely the most inexpensive way to obtain one of S-E / APC's latest generation of UPSes. Advanced features such as "Enhanced Intelligent Battery Management" and "Graphical LCD" with multicolor LED backlighting make this UPS extremely easy to live with. Also, greatly extended run time is available with optional additional battery packs. Make sure you consider this UPS if you want the most advanced model available.
