Great for ones that love scary board games

The game is well made and should last a long time. The box is beautiful. Á fun game for adventurous adults. Priced right for hours of fun.

Spooking Fun Board Game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re looking for a Halloween themed board game to play with friends or family, betrayal is amazing. The packaging is very nice and it’s for kids 12 and up 3 to 6 players.

Great game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a fan of Betrayal at House on the Hill 2nd Edition for years, but since my son took that one to college I was excited to pick up the new 3rd Edition. The new version has been updated and streamlined quite a lot, and I think all the changes are individually great. Taken collectively, I’m wondering if maybe the game is now a bit too streamlined. I need a few more plays to be sure, but I suspect it strongly.
The Good:
The new artwork is much more vibrantly colored, without being cartoony.
The Haunt Roll can no longer trigger on the first or second Omen card
There are significantly fewer tiny little tokens to keep track of.
The overall gameplay is the same as the previous version, and there are still 50 different possible Haunts.
The players can now choose a background reason for why they are exploring the House, which affects the style of Haunts they will trigger, rather than it being completely random.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have yet to have the chance to play this but i did read through the instructions & it seems like it will be super fun to play! i just have to get some people together. the pieces are all very nicely made & feel durable. seems it will be easy enough to follow along. i can’t wait!
