[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Avalon Hill Betrayal at House on the Hill is a fun strategy, horror game. I’m totally for all things horror and was instantly drawn to this game. You’ll need at 3 players and you take turns building the mansion with different scenarios. Game play is over an hour for my family and it can be a lot to take in at once. The overall quality of the game cards and the artwork is what really draws me in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this game wanting to try something new and unusual for myself. It was that for sure. I’m not saying it was horrible, but it most likely won’t be my first pick in games to play at game night. Maybe for someone else though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got Hasbro Gaming - Avalon Hill Betrayal at House on the Hill and I love it. I had never played before so at first it took a lot of reading and figuring out to get started. But once we figured it out we all had a lot of fun. The game board and pieces are well very made. I like the variety of characters. If you love everything horror related you should try this game. It will have you on the edge our seat waiting for your next move. Game night with friends is now a thing at my house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a long time since we've found a game that's super fun for adults. Endless possibilities with this game with all the different scenarios and twists and turns. Plus it's kind of creepy which keeps it even more exciting. Takes a little bit to get it set up initially but once you everything punched out and put together...game on! Highly recommend for fun with your spouse or a group of friends!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Betrayal at House on Haunted Hill 3rd edition. I have never played this game before. Great for groups of people that have plenty of time (ie: beginning of pandemic). Minimum 3 players, maximum of 6. It is recommended for ages 12 and up. I have a house full of teenage pranksters that kept them busy for a couple hours. It’s a little creepy, but if you are into horror stuff, I’m sure you will like it. This version has 50 different haunts and 12 new characters that the previous versions did not have. Based on my kids engagement, they do recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely had a fun time with this board game. My husband has played another edition before and I am a new player to this game, but we both loved it. The game needs at least three players. There are players who are the heroes and if that isn't your style, then you can be the traitor that works actively to sabotage the game. You get to control monsters and have your own playbook. The game rules are detailed and easy to follow. I love how each character has his and her own story. I love the artwork in each room, and the scenarios that comes with it. We played for hours during family time. The longer you play, the better it gets.
