I love how there is a mystery and be able to play with older teens is a plus!!! I definitely love how they designed and made it I recommend this game forsure!!! Alvin betrayed at the house on the hill is the best forsure love it !!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun game! Works best I think with 4-6 players. It does take some time to understand the game and reading the instructions is a must. There is twists and turn and the game play is different every time. It’s spooky and haunting all at the same time. Definitely a must to play with my family Would definitely recommend!

Fun But Dark

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is fun and a bit challenging. The theme is dark so I don’t recommend for children but it is something different for adults to play. The pieces are well made and seem durable so should last a while. I would explore other games from the brand for sure.

Scenario game that calls for attention to detail

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Avalon Hill Betrayal at House on the Hill is a great mystery game for your family or friends! We played with our neighbors for the first time and it took about 2-3 hours to play. It says 60-90 on the box, so I’m sure after the first time, it becomes easier. The concept is fun as it makes you utilize your critical thinking skills. The game had quite a few instructions and can be difficult at first. I would recommend playing with older teens and adults. The playing board is small and compact to accommodate any space. The pieces were good quality and the scenarios were creative. Overall, this was a great and unique game to play with family and friends!

Exciting game, keeps you at the edge of your seat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is never ending fun; me and my family played for family night and everyone loved it! It takes a little while to set it up but it's completely worth it!
It's really cool that the game is completely different every time you play it; every game is a complete and fantastic surprise!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game is alot of fun it is for bigger kids because there to it and reading but we had alot of fun it is almost comparable to the game clue where your trying to find stuff but each time you play the story changes so it is never ending fun. My teenage boys loved it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Avalon Hill betrayal at house on the hill third edition is such a fun game. I have played the first edition but the rules are much more clear and simple in the third edition. It is horror-based content and is better for older children as it can be complicated. This has new rule books and content. There are 50 different scenarios that haven't been seen before. The game describes itself as a haunted house traitor game which is exactly right. The game can be quick or can take hours. It can be very challenging but also very exciting. I think this is a great game for older children and adults.

Family fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this game for a twist on our family game night and it was an absolute hit.it was a little advanced for the younger children but the preteens and adults had a blast. It was a bit different from our usual board games but in a good way. It didnt drag on like monopoly and kept everyone interested the whole game. We are all looking forward to game night every week now.
