I was looking for an Asus Chromebook to update the current one I have and jumped at the opportunity when I saw the price. This is the 4th Asus product I have had, and am imoressed with the display. Much better than the previous Chromebook. Asus computers like the Chromebook have the shortest boot time of any other brand I know of. I am still running a 2010 Asus laptop I purchased some time back. With 8GB of memory on it, that machine boots up faster than a 2020 D___ laptop. Asus machines have long lives.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Asus Excels Again, This Time With Chromebook

This is my tenth Asus computer product which has included components, motherboards, laptops, and now this Chromebook.
The display is crisp, clear even at higher resolution, and can run higher resolution on a portable extended display.
The keyboard touch, feel, and layout are superb.
The only issues are:
...(a) Play Store keeps stopping.
...(b) I had to do a hard reset after only 3 days operation.

Other than that this Chromebook does updates to hardware, the OS, and attached devices, with ease.
Note, this is my first Chromebook so I have a learning curve to go through.
But all-in-all I am very happy with another Asus product.

Bought a brand new product. Within the first three weeks, lost 6 of the 10 screws that hold the bottom panel of the laptop. They just fell off. Cannot get through to support after multiple attempts. Major regret buying this product.
