I mow most of my yard with a riding mower. Two ditch areas that are too steep to mow with the rider make up about 200 square feet of it and I mowed that with my gas push mower until it went belly up. My old shoulders suffer now if I pull start a gas engine so I decided to go electric and this mower certainly was priced right. It was easy to set up and when I used it with a 12/3 extension cord it didn't even slow down in cutting grass that was about an inch higher than I was mowing. Time will tell about toughness and reliability, but so far I have found it to be an ideal choice.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a senior citizen this is great! Don't have to deal with the pulling string and wondering if it will start. Best investment I could have made.
I enjoy this light mower and it does sufficient job for my lawn. The most impressive was the excellent Sun Joe customer support that I received for all my questions/issues.
This lawnmower eliminated the purchasing of gas, cervical distress(ACDF Surgery problems), and it's quite effective in maintaining the upkeep of my medium sized backyard in an environmental friendly manner.
It was easy to assemble and use. It is perfect for a small space and cuts the grass, like the bigger gas mowers!

A friend recommended this to me for those times in early spring before grass begins to come in and weeds and “flowers” are spread everywhere in my yard. I love using this mower, and the only thing I have to negotiate is the 100 ft extension cord. If the directions are followed, there are no problems so far. My friend is in his second year with his. I am 73 and this is easy to push and can run for a long time. I thoroughly hose iit down once it’s cooled off, and this keeps it looking brand new and prevents “gunk” and dirt from hampering the blade.
