I've only tried this once, and my friend who purchased it for me has tried it twice, so too new to tell, but so far so good. The heavy duty cord needed won't fit in the cord holder, so had to improvise. Otherwise, can't really complain thus far.
I love this little guy!!! Only thing I don't like is the bag does fill up quickly, but if you don't mind the clean up you can take it off, I have s hugh back yard and this little guy tackled it with no problem all I need now is the trimmer and edgier to make it complete
HAVE NOT HAD PRODUCT VERY LONG BUT SO FAR HAS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATION'S. SO FAR, WORKS BETTER THAN ANY MOWER I HAVE HAD IN THE PAST. AS LONG AS IT PROVES RELIABLE OVER TIME I WILL TURN MY FRIENDS ON TO THIS PRODUCT. (LONG TERM DURABILITY IS VERY IMPORTANT).
Bought this to mow a very steep portion of my lawn and ended up using it for the whole lawn. Cuts and gathers the clippings better than any other mower I've ever used. The cord takes a little getting used to but its not a big challenge. I wish the wheels were a larger diameter to lower the resistance to pushing and that the height adjustment was more secure. I find that one or more wheels have dropped to a lower setting when I have finished the lawn. I will look at the 21" model for next year.
I live in a row house with a small hill crested with a small strip of grass at the top and a small backyard. After moving in, I tried a rotary blade push mower but the hill was too difficult to negotiate and the backyard is uneven. I moved to trying to weed wack the areas but again, the effort was frustrating. Enter the Sun Joe. Easy to assemble, simple to operate. What took 60-90 minutes in past efforts was accomplished in under 30 with the Sun Joe. When completed, I carried the mower down to the basement and settled down for lunch.
