I had no idea what my brushing was leaving behind. I hate flossing but I love the water pik. Once you get the hang of it, it is easy. I just wish it was bigger then 30 seconds.
The WaterPik works very well. I had one around 50 years ago, and I loved it. Changes have been made, and the new style is very nice. My only problem is that when I use it, my gums bleed. I’m not sure if the water pressure force is stronger than before or if it’s my age and my gums are more sensitive. Probably the latter. If it continues, at least I can give it to my daughter, as there are several different heads, so family members can share.
It’s messy, but all waterpiks are probably. The small reservoir is annoying to have to fill multiple times during each use. It is powerful, so be careful not to shoot your eye out!! It does seem to “eat” batteries. It does do the job...cleans food out of those gums quite well.
I like it but there are a few things I wish that were different. I wish it had adjustable speeds, more than two. Also wish I didn’t get water all over myself every time I try to use it.
