I bought the cordless waterproof water pik a month and a half ago. It worked great then about a couple weeks ago the water coming from the spout started to have less power when turned on. I changed the batteries and it still acted the same. I thought it would've lasted longer than a month .

We sincerely apologize for the issue you are experiencing with the unit. It sounds as though the unit may have some build up. It can happen from mineral deposits in your water supply. Try running a reservoir of equal parts distilled white vinegar and warm water through the unit. If this does not solve the issue, please call customer service at 1-800-525-2774 Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm for warranty assistance.

Great little Waterpik!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this battery operated Waterpik. I was worried that it would not have the same cleaning power as a regular Waterpik - but compared to my previous model - this one is more powerful and offers two settings. It is handy to travel with as the size is a bit more compact but would still be a bit bulky to take say when flying and packing space is at a premium. The water chamber holds a decent amount of water - one refill for good top and bottom teeth cleaning. I like that it is waterproof and can be used in the shower too when multitasking and crunched on time. I appreciate the lack of another cord having to be plugged in the bathroom more then anything. I have been using this for about a week - so I can't really comment about battery life. Overall I am definitely very happy with this product!

Great for Travel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you for sending this sample product. It is great for traveling as I don't have to worry about voltage conversion / concerns when traveling to other countries. I don't think I will use it though for regular home flossing due to battery usage. I have only used it for a week and the water flow/power have decreased significantly -- which I attribute to the batteries wearing out. Changing the batteries too often (particularly the alkaline types) maybe costly and may even be more than the cost of the unit itself in the long run. I will still keep this unit though and may even get more that our family can use for traveling as I really think Waterpik is way better than string floss.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my cordless Waterpik about 10 days ago. It is quite powerful for a battery operated water flosser. The only disadvantage is the smaller reservoir so if it was bigger would make it less appropriate for travel (or for use in smaller hands). I also have the rechargable cordless plus that holds about 7 oz. of water, so I'm comparing it to that.

This Is How To Go From Great To Spectacular

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] How to deal with the water-everywhere problem? Floss in the shower! My previous cordless Waterpik had just one problem -making sure the water stayed off my clothes. This new Waterflosser Express solves that and more. The large grip is great for control. The fill opening is both watertight and easy to work with. Two speeds right on the handle means no need to change tips to change pressure. And having powered pressure instead of using the shower's water pressure ensures a constant, consistent water stream whatever your home's water arrangement. As for problems, there are almost none to have. I would like to see the battery compartment door re-designed to use the whole hand instead of fingertips, as that would make it easier to work with and make it easier to ensure a tight seal. But the existing seal is sound so this is really just a quibble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like seeing the level of water. Having two speeds is nice. This waterpik is lighter. This one is more convenient - no cord. It's easier to fill. It is easy to turn off and on, and to eject the nozzle. It doesn't hold as much water as my prior waterpik. I have to refill on occasion. The spray nozzle doesn't rotate on this one. The spray is not as powerful. I always have to remember to have extra batteries available. I will take this one on trips.
This product uses too much battery. Not efficient for electricity.

We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with the product. The average customer will replace batteries every 6-8 weeks. How long the batteries will last is not only determined by the type and quality of the battery, but how often the unit is used as well. If you use the product more than once a day or if multiple people use it, we recommend a counter top model or a rechargeable unit.

Does a great job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dental hygienist told me that an “oral irrigator,” or Waterpik, cleans up to 6 millimeters under the gum line whereas flossing goes only 3 mm deep. Since using Waterpik products, my periochart numbers have improved markedly. The Cordless Express model does the job just as well as my old Waterpik. It has a large reservoir, which means it can clean both sides of upper and lower teeth without needing a water refill. It also offers two settings for the amount of water pressure it applies, so you simply push a button to change the pressure rather than having to insert a different “pick head.” The only drawback is the size of the handle, which seems large and clunky and which initially makes the Cordless Express feel cumbersome to hold compared to the more streamlined Waterpik I had been using. However, I did get accustomed to the larger handle after using it a few times. All in all, the Cordless Express is a fine addition to my oral hygiene routine and leaves my mouth feeling fresh and healthy.
