I have not used it very often but it seems like dental floss does a little better job.

Replaced my similar old Waterpik with this unit. The old one was about 4 years old. I had dropped it a few too many times and cracked it. It was still usable but the price was reasonable so I replaced. This new one seems a bit more powerful. The reservoir seems a bit smaller and is shaped differently. I’ve used it for a few weeks and it works great.
First use was fine, good pressure. After that it got weaker with each use. Replaced batteries and again, first use had good pressure, then each subsequent use had less and less pressure to the water stream. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with the product. The average customer will replace batteries every 6-8 weeks. How long the batteries will last is not only determined by the type and quality of the battery, but how often the unit is used as well. If you use the product more than once a day or if multiple people use it, we recommend a counter top model or a rechargeable unit. I’ve had this for 6 months now. I’ve had to replace the batteries every 5-6 weeks, mind you, you use the thing for 30-60seconds a day… and now the thing won’t turn on at all… after 6 months.
