Works as promised - Great for travelers.

It is really a good travel Waterpic. Works well and the batteries not being charge type works just fine. The unit does everything it should and the price was right. The only thing they should add is a better bag. This has to go in my wheelie when I check out and you have to assure it is all dry as the bag isn't waterproof. I started packing a ziplock to correct for that deficiency. I put the unit in the ziploc, then into the bag provided.

Did not use the accessory included. Use the plaque one that was included with the counter waterpik I have. Bought battery operated one to take on vacation.

I bought the battery version. I did not realize this until I opened it up at home.
However---it has more pressure on the wider nozzle and the low setting than the rechargeable one. Pleasantly surprised.

Good for travel

This waterpik is great for 1 person on an infrequent use schedule. My husband and I were both using it every day and going through batteries way too quickly. We ended up buying a rechargeable unit for daily use and keeping this one for travel. It does work great though and gets our teeth very clean. The quality is great and it's small enough to pack or keep on the bathroom counter.

Easy and convenient

I am finding the Waterpik Cordless Express easy and convenient to use. Because it uses standard, replaceable batteries (with no recharging), I don't have to worry about re-charging too long or not long enough, and I don't have to throw it away when the battery wears out. Also, because the tank is clear, it is easy to see when there is enough water in it, without holding it up in front of a light source. Surprisingly, the tank closure doesn't leak, even though it is on the side of the tank.
Changing the batteries is somewhat of a challenge, because you have to remove the tank (grab and pull down with some effort), remove the cover to the battery compartment (a bit like removing a child-proof bottle cap), figure out which direction each new battery goes in, remember to rub a little petroleum jelly around the opening of the compartment (something that isn't mentioned in the quick-start guide, but only in the manual), and replace the cover securely before replacing the tank. (If the cover isn't screwed on tight, the batteries won't make contact.)
Aside from that procedure, which has to be done after about 40 uses (13 days if I clean after each meal), I'm finding the product a pleasure to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!
