This cordless water pic is certainly better than the previous one I had. That one didn't use batteries but the charger was really poor and the unit ended up not working at all. Yes, this goes through batteries pretty quickly which is a downside. I m planning on trying to replace it with rechargeable batteries as I have a battery charger. So far so good.

I am so pleased with this Waterpik. I use it several times a day and my teeth feel so clean. It beats regular floss, and is so simple to use. It does empty quickly though, so you may need to fill it twice in one setting. I highly recommend it though.
