repaceable battery model does not last

I have used them for years since only product available. i have used the rechargeable and the replaceable batteries. They only good for one year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this product as a gift to have when traveling. I am a confirmed, dedicated Waterpik user and packed my regular model WF-07W for travel. But when TSA took exception my wife took that as a 'need' to have this model. It works but really isn't comparable to what I use normally. In fact I look at it more as a disappointment as it isn't really that much different in size and I can't make any adjustment. But it is convenient and it works better than any non-Waterpik alternative.
