Battery placement is a problem

The water pic action works fine, but managing the battery was a problem. They are at the bottom of the handle, and it's unclear where to add the petroleum jelly to seal the compartment. Water pretty easily gets into the compartment and the batteries get ruined. We went through three sets of batteries before we figured out the problem, and stopped using this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It does a great job of cleaning in between your teeth. It take a while to learn how to use effectively without making a mess. It would be better if the button that turns it on was a button that stopped the spray once you lifted your finger and then started again if you push down.

Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because the water runs out quick. I wish it had a bigger water tank. Otherwise, I really like it! Wish I had bought one years ago.
