I enjoyed using the Waterpik for a few weeks by recommendation of my dentist and felt my teeth were getting cleaner. However, my Waterpik randomly stopped powerfully ejecting water even though all of the parts were correctly in place. I read through all the forums online and tried everything I could. I even changed the batteries and read through the instructions, but it just couldn't be fixed. I wish I had purchased a better model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Ar R - I am sorry that you're having this difficulty with the WF-02 model. It could just need the jet tip replaced or the unit may need to be cleaned. I think it does a great job. There definitely is a learning curve. I haven't really mastered it yet. I only wish I had purchased one with a tank reservoir. This one will be nice when I travel..
A little harsh when the battery is fresh. Gets better as the battery runs down. There's a bit of a learning curve for a new user but getting better all the time.
It doesn't hold enough water to finish even one session. Mine also leaked when on it's side to be filled.
