Worse than useless

I would give it no stars if possible. I used it for one week, continued brushing and flossing as usual, ordered the plaque removal brushes, stopped using a hard pick, substituting the water pik. The plaque removal brushes were simply small soft brush heads. After one week the batteries died, and when I used the hard pick again, my gums were bleeding. After two days of using the hard pick again, no bleeding problems. I don't know what to do with the water pik, hate to add it to the landfill.

Hello there - We are sorry to hear you were unhappy with the product. If you have not flossed regularly in the past, it may take some time for your gums to get used to it. We recommend that you start on the lowest pressure setting that is most comfortable for you. You can adjust the pressure gradually as your gums become stronger. However, if pain and bleeding are severe or if they persist, we recommend speaking with your dental provider.
