Thank you for your feedback. The average customer will replace batteries every 6-8 weeks. How long the batteries will last is not only determined by the type and quality of the battery but also how often the unit is used. If multiple people are using the unit and/or it gets used multiple times a day, the batteries will need to be replaced more frequently.

Excellent results...recommend to use rechargeable batteries....I brush and use the WaterPik at least twice a day. Compact and easy to use...teeth and mouth feel really clean after using the WP and helps fight tartar build-up.

Although the pressure is not as high as our counter top models, it does not make it any less effective. The model carries a one-year warranty.
