I bought one and tried it. Was very good EXCEPT it lasted less than a year. I bought a second one and it also lasted less than a year. While I liked it when it worked, I wouldn't have been upset if it laster 3-4 years. But less than one year twice, It's a bummer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
