The idea of a portable waterpik is great! However, I found this one to be bulky, cumbersome, and messy.

Worthless -- No quality control

If I could, I would rate this product at zero. New out of the box, first use, and neither tip stays attached to the handle, making the product worthless. I won't chalk it up to user error, because I've had WaterPiks for decades, and I bought the Express to replace an older cordless model that would no longer accept a charge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
