The Water Pik wasn't what I expected. The pressure gage was set to only one setting and it was too forceful for my sensitive gums, so I returned it.

Hello JMDean - We're sorry to hear that the pressure from your WF-02 was too strong for your preference. If you need a water flosser that has a lower setting, we recommend a counter top model. If you would like assistance, we would be happy to guide you to a model that would be a better fit. Please email us at smreviews@waterpik.com or call us at (800) 525-2774 and we would be happy to help.
This battery powered device works very well. The reservoir is large enough for one use. The water force is sufficient. The water missing is very easy. My only complaint is that the batteries don't last very long.
Had this water pick for about a month. This morning I had to change the batteries, only to find that inside the battery compartment was wet and corroded. Upon further inspection, I found that the locking cap does not seal but was raised.

Hello Holl - We're sorry to hear this happened. As indicated on page 6 of your owner's manual, we recommend applying a thin even film of petroleum jelly to the battery cap O-ring and the battery compartment sealing surface. We recommend this so it doesn’t dry out.
This is an excellent water flosser and the fact that it runs on batteries makes it very convenient. There are 2 things I would change to make it better -1) the water receptaccl needs to be larger. (you shouldn't have to fill it more than once per use.) 2) The water receptacle should be easier to take off.
