The battery life is awful and the water only allows for about 20-30 seconds of flossing. Mine did 1 week past the 1 year warranty - would NOT buy again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello LKNBlondie - Thank you for your review on the WF-02. We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the product. The batteries are designed to last about one month with once-daily use, but their lifespan can vary based on the type and quality of the battery as well as how often the unit is used. Even if you are outside the one-year warranty period, we would still like to see if we can help! Please contact us at 1-800-525-2774 or email smreviews@waterpik.com for assistance.
My portable model travels well, doesn't need a plug, easy to use and makes my gums and teeth feel so good. I'm low maintenance type of person, but using this, well, all I have to say is that I wish I purchased one and started using it years ago. Worth every penny and the time I take to use it.
Batteries run out quickly and need to be changed weekly to maintain a powerful stream.

We're sorry that you're not totally satisfied. We are sorry to hear that you were not happy with the product. The average customer will replace batteries every 6-8 weeks. How long the batteries will last is not only determined by the type and quality of the battery, but how often the unit is used as well. If you use the product more than once a day or if multiple people use it, we recommend a counter top model or a rechargeable unit.
Better than string flossing to remove food debris. My hygienist sees big improvement. Just wish the reservoir was large enough to do my whole mouth. I usually have to refill.
Easy to use and after a few weeks of usage, I already see improvement with my teeth. However, I bought a large package of extra AA batteries as the batteries do get worn down with use.
