Good news is I purchased the cordless model to save space about 4 weeks ago and I enjoy using it and use 2 to 3 times a day as opposed to once a day flossing. Bad news is 3 AA batteries last about 1 week and rechargeable last 3 or 4 days. Would not recommend or purchase this model again. Make sure you purchase one with a charger.

We are sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with this unit. The average customer will replace batteries every 6-8 weeks. How long the batteries will last is not only determined by the type and quality of the battery, but also how often the unit is used. If multiple people are using the unit and/or it gets used multiple times a day, the batteries will need to be replaced more frequently. Perhaps a rechargeable or counter top model would be a better fit. We would be happy to guide you to a product that would be a better fit. Bought the waterpik a few weeks ago and I use it everyday. Love it! I've seen a dramatic change in the way my teeth and gums look. I only wish I would have purchased this a long time ago.
My last waterpik was electric and held plenty of water. This new one holds so little water I have to stop and refill 4 or 5 times to use. Being battery operated is fine.

We are sorry that you are unhappy. This model is designed to be small as it is intended for those who travel and/or have little counter space. Some users may find it necessary to fill the reservoir more than once. If you prefer not to, a counter top model would be a better fit.
