First time user, so there was a learning curve. I can tell it cleans well and I am getting better at controlling it. I have only used the low setting and it took getting used to the powerful blasts. Ergonomics are decent but the switch is awkward and hard to move on and off and sometimes I will skip past the low setting and jump to the high setting while trying to turn it on. Also not easy to slide down to turn off. I would prefer a rocker style switch. It takes me three refills of the water reservoir to clean, but then again, I am a newbie and probably not doing it right. Installing & replacing batteries is also a little complicated so they put a sticker on the bottom to help.

Worthless -- No quality control

If I could, I would rate this product at zero. New out of the box, first use, and neither tip stays attached to the handle, making the product worthless. I won't chalk it up to user error, because I've had WaterPiks for decades, and I bought the Express to replace an older cordless model that would no longer accept a charge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
