I worked well for a month, yesterday the battery was dead!! I didn’t pay attention to the reviews, and threw away my receipt too soon. Now I’m screwed. Very sad
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We apologize for the difficulty encountered with the unit. The average customer will replace batteries every 6-8 weeks. How long the batteries will last is not only determined by the type and quality of the battery, but also how often the unit is used. If multiple people are using the unit and/or it gets used multiple times a day, the batteries will need to be replaced more frequently. This model carries a one-year warranty. I've had my cordless Waterpik for over a year and use it everyday. About 3 weeks ago one of the little tabs that holds the door of the water tank broke off. Then last night the remaining one broke off. Now the it's unusable. I checked on their website to see if they sold just a water tank, but nope, so now my flosser is junk. Very disappointed.
Stopped working after about a month. First the slide swithch became unreliable (had to slide it back and forth a few times before it would work), then the whole thing just died. Won't work at all. Threw out the receipt, so I guess there's no warranty replacement possible...
