We are sorry that you are not completely happy with the product. The length of time the batteries will last not only depends on the type and quality of the battery but also on how often the product is used. If using the unit multiple times a day or if more than one user is using the product, a counter top model may be a better choice.

I bought one and tried it. Was very good EXCEPT it lasted less than a year. I bought a second one and it also lasted less than a year. While I liked it when it worked, I wouldn't have been upset if it laster 3-4 years. But less than one year twice, It's a bummer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Batteries last for 6 -30second uses; then flosser needs new batteries!

The average customer will replace batteries every 6-8 weeks. How long the batteries will last is not only determined by the type and quality of the battery, but also how often the unit is used. If multiple people are using the unit and/or it gets used multiple times a day, the batteries will need to be replaced more frequently.
