Solid and good looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 955 Commercial Grade Electronic Lever, Satin Nickel was pretty easy to install with the supplied instructions. It is very solid and not cheap feeling at all. It comes with the keys and a 9 volt battery that is said to last 3 years. Also the battery is super easy to change. Just pop off the plastic piece on the inside top and pop the old battery out and the new one right back in. It was easy to set up the codes and has up to 30 code options. This is perfect for a business or home. I just wouldn’t use this as a door lock that has small kids in the home due to the safety feature of opening from the inside whether it is locked or unlocked. Overall it is a great lock and we have really liked it. It is perfect for a business so you do not have to give employees the keys to your business, just change the code when they are no longer employed with you.

High Quality and Sleek

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my new Kwikset smartcode electronic lever knob. I chose the smartcode option because sometimes I just can't find my house key in my purse. This package also offers keys as an an option, so you get to choose how you enter your home. This set allows either the code, or the key, to open the door. Very handy! My 3-year-old son once locked me out of the house when I was taking out the trash. Of course, I did not have my house key on me, and it was a very stressful situation trying to yell through the locked door to him, and explain what he needed to do to let me in. This smartcode lever is peace of mind for me. I have my code memorized in case this ever happens again. Also, the lever is better than a traditional door knob because it allows one to use their elbow to open it, rather than requiring the entire hand. For instance, I have kids. When I come home from grocery shopping, loaded down with bags and my children, this lever is easy to use, with no hands necessary. I can have the baby in one arm, a dozen grocery sacks loaded onto my other arm, purse in one hand, and a baby bottle in the other, and just push my elbow onto the lever, and viola! Easy and fast! I have always liked and trusted the Kwikset brand to be high-quality, and a great value. My husband installed this electronic lever in record time, without difficulty. I recommend this smartcode Pembroke lever to everyone with a home, a door, and a lot of life to juggle.

The touchpad electronic deadbolt lever is a one touch locking motorized deadbolt. You enter your own code so you can enter your home with keyless entry. The keypad us backlit also so easy to see. SmartCode 955 is easy to install, program and use, and operates on one 9 Volt battery. Love the chrome look.

Super easy and quick to install!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this set to replace another electric doorlocking set (non-kwikset brand). First thing if you have not used a electronic lock set yet get on the bandwagon. These are a welcome addition to my home. When we go away we program a code for users to check on the house. When we return we change the code again. You really have to try to lock yourself out of the house. My significant other is the Michael Jordan of locking themselves out of EVERYTHING! This helps alleviate a lot of these issues.
This set is much higher quality than the previous one. The previous set ate battery's and I was a touch concerned about being locked out due to this. This set says 3 years for the battery. We will see its on the front door and will see moderate usage. The actuator struggles less than the old set to lock and unlock the mechanisms. Kwikset is known for easy installation and quality control. Both of these are evident in the weight of the handles and mechanisms.
The previous set took me over a half hour to install. I installed the kwikset in less than 20 minutes. Infact it was so simple I read the instructions twice looking for the quirks. This set installs like a traditional set with the addition of plugging in a 9volt battery and plugging in a 4 wire connector. Thank you for a quality product kwikset I will purchase again.

I feel that this is a safer and especially easier option for us and the kids. We have a home alarm as well and it does not interfere with the alarm system either.
