Great for quick entry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Kwikset electronic Lever. I love that I can completely depend on this product! It looks great, it's easy to set up and easy to change out the pass code, if you need to. All kinds of options for LEFT and RIGHT Swing Doors and Double doors. The finish is great for exterior and lasts for years, as I know this through experience. The value is incredible if you compare to other brands that seem more expensive. So unless you require some crazy size for your doors levers and locks, this is the one to check out for standard exterior doors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my new Kwikset smartcode electronic door lock for a few weeks now, and love how great it looks on my door, and the peace of mind it provides! I really like the keypad entry access ability, which makes entering so much easier than having to fumble around with keys. I also enjoy the beautiful design of the door lock, as it matches so well with my other doorway hardware and accessories. The door lock abs handle are very durable and make of high quality material. There is also a keyhole entry available in the event you need to enter without the entry code. I really love everything about this door lock and handle.

Great Lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was pretty easy to install. Did take longer than the instructions stated. Solid fire door. Once installed, programming was quite simple to understand and the lock/door handle is operating just perfect. Love the door handle style in comparison to your standard round knob. Looks much nicer and we love the flat black. Heavy duty lock. But again, it did take us longer than the time stated. Other than that I imagine this should last quite awhile.

Is glitchy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation for 955 smart code knob was remarkably easy and took only 10 minutes. Anyone can install this knob with its clear detailed instructions. The parts seem heavy and well maid. I don’t like the black plastic panel inside the knob. It is very stylish and leaves a lasting impression on anyone that uses my door. Here are my issues. I’ve came home twice and the door is not locked, even after being turned to lock. And a couple weeks ago both me and my wife stepped outside to grab things from the car. When we turned back around to open the door ( keyless as our keys where inside) no matter how many times we pushed, entered the code and panicked mentally the door would not open. It’s like the pin inside the knob never left the door frame when the outdoor knob was turned. We got our daughters attention and she turned the knob inside and the door opened with ease. I’ve already got a few comments on the sleek appearance, and I enjoy the convenience of keyless entry! But I’m watching closely for more glitches. The security and safety of my family above all is the most important to me. I like that I can set the key to match my current key, and the many code options. When it is dark out I can easily see to unlike my door by hitting the kwickset button.

Great lock!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great smart lock door handle. It was incredibly easy to install, very straightforward and intuitive. Programming the lock where is easy the instructions were very easy to follow. It has continued to work flawlessly in this northern New York crazy winter vortex that we’ve been in. The subzero weather hasn’t affected it at all. I love that I don’t have to dig for keys when I get home. I love the way it looks on my door and I am definitely going to get a couple more for my other house doors. Highly recommended!!

Great lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new home came with a different smart entry keypad, though we didn't get they physical key with it, only the code. They way it worked if someone locked it from the inside & left through a different door, you couldn't get back in through that door! Replaced it with this keypad lock and no longer have that issue. It was easy to switch out with the enclosed instructions and program our choice of key code. You can program 30 different codes, which lets you give someone a different code than you normally use, then deprogram it when it is no longer needed. I chose this lock over some of the newer more "techy" locks with cameras and mobile apps because I really don't want to worry about internet security getting in the middle of my home's security. I like that this lock is electronic & keyless, but NOT going to be prone to computer security flaws.
