Convenient and safe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This convenient fixed-blade box cutter is great for carrying in your pocket with a clip just like a knife. Another great feature is the ease of use in replacing the blades. I did have a little difficult puttNing the first blade in because the packaging didn’t have instruction but I eventually got it in so minus one star. I’ve used this to cut cardboard and plastic and don’t have any complaints. All and all a simple and useful box cutter with a design to safely carry in your pocket.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Could Use Some Instruction

I agree with "Close but not close enough" that some instruction on how to fold the knife need to be included with packaging. Had to visit this site to garner instructions on closing. Conventional wisdom has one looking for a button to depress so that knife would fold -- much like the button Stanley employs to lock in a new blade. Very frustrating. A simple diagram on the packaging on folding, and location of the included blade would go a long way. College graduate with some HazMat training
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Compact, sturdy & gets the job done!

Compact, so it goes easily in your utility pant pocket. Compact, yet strong enough for any job, big or small. From opening cartons to cutting vinyl or other materials, it cuts through the first time. We have them in our tool boxes and our home tool bag so we are always ready for any job. I give it a 10+

EASY TO FOLD - REALLY

To fold closed, simply reach into the space left by the blade when open and depress the metal bar to the side, away from the blade housing. Once you see it you will then realize that it sits slightly proud for quick access. It requires two hands to close, but only for a moment. So no easy press button, but in hindsight perhaps more reliable and safe.

Compact, Solid, Comfortable Knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this knife. It has become my every day go-to knife. Small and compact it fits easily in a pocket so it is easy to have on hand for when it is needed. This knife is SOLID and well balanced. It just feels good in your hand. It is easy to open one-handed and has a lock out feature for safety so the blade won't accidentally shut on you. With its slight angled handle to blade ratio it is easy to make accurate cuts and to pull the blade through the cutting material.
My only issue is that there is no on-board storage for spare blades. This uses utility blades which are inexpensive and easy to change so you should be able to keep a sharp blade on the knife at all times. On board storage would facilitate that. It's a minor quibble for a knife that feels good in your pocket and your hand and is so convenient to carry. Highly recommend.

Does Not Fold Closed.

This is the worst knife I've ever purchased. Looked great in the package, but there are no instructions on how to close the darn thing. I can't leave the razor sharp edge out - it needs to fold in on itself. The only moving part is the button to insert the blade.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
