Very good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always wanted to have a smart lock and thank you Influenster for the opportunity. I loved the look and east to install. I am not good with installing so took a little longer but was able to complete. Setup was quick and easy and works great. This is my fist smart lock and I am loving it.

a little tricky to install but amazing !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So let me start by saying if you don’t know what you’re doing at all then it is a wee bit difficult especially because I’m not good with drills or other tools so I needed help with installation. The only smart home thing in my house besides the usual tv and other similar products is a few Alexa’s around the house, nothing like this so it’s cool to finally have something! If you have a total smart home I think you need the other wifi version not this Bluetooth version. Otherwise it’s a real neat tool to have installed. Used it on my garage door instead of my front door and it works perfectly. Makes coming in with groceries so convenient and is so easy.

Super convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using our garage keypad for years to get into our house but lately it has been acting up and not working right so the kids can’t always get into the house. We got the Yale lock and it took about an hour to install after some minor tweaks to our door but it has been working great. I love having the peace of mind in knowing that the kids aren’t going to get locked out of the house anymore. You can share a code with family or friends that will allow them to access the lock easily. One time I was taking a nap and my daughter was at the door but forgot the code and I was able to unlock the door from the app while I was still laying in bed. Super convenient! I am tempted to get the attachment that will allow me to use my Apple Watch and phone to get into the house rather than enter the code. All in all we have loved our Yale lock and I can’t imagine ever going back to a standard lock again.

I really like the features that the app offers and I love that it has an automatic lock setting. Sometimes I forget to relook my door when I get home but this makes me feel safe because it automatically does it for me after I get home. I highly suggest it!

Convenient with some flaws

We were unsure how to assign codes to household members at first. Since set up, it has worked flawlessly (so far) and we enjoy the convenience of keyless entry.

Easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unpacking the Yale Assure Lock 2 Key-Free Push Button, I was pleased to find a multi-head screwdriver included. As I was swapping out a prior dead bolt with the smart lock, the screwdriver was all that was needed for the initial install. I did opt to install an optional sensor in the door jamb later, which required a drill. There is a stick on sensor that can be used, but I opted for the sleeker, hidden sensor look. Installation was a breeze, the instructions were intuitive and included hardware was well packaged and labeled. The software updates after installation took longer than installing the lock itself. Operation is smooth and trouble free as you would expect from a brank like Yale. The lock has a sleek, well designed look both indoors and out. The buttons have a great feel. I obtained the Bluetooth lock, and the features are amazing. The smart lock features which sense if the door is open, and locked or unlocked and will automatically lock the door works flawlessly! Never have to worry about if we remembered to lock the door on the way out again! I plan on purchasing the Wi-Fi module in the future to allow for enhanced code sharing, which will come in handy on those occasions where a house or puppers check in is needed by friends/relatives. The random passcode share would be even more useful if you utilize a cleaning crew or pet service and have a need for short term codes. I’ve been very pleased with the lock for the first several weeks of use, and highly recommend the Yale Assure Lock 2.

A little learning curve at first

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I must admit - i had a little trouble getting used to using it after my partner installed it. Guess you can blame it on my pregnancy brain.
But, after I got the hang of it I am happy and super thankful we have it installed as I tend to forget where I place my keys at more times than I’d care to admit.
