When you're carrying in your groceries, you dont have to have your keys ready, or put things down to fish them out of your pocket. Simply punch in your code and you're in! It's super easy to install - took all of 10 minutes.
I've been waiting a while for something like this - so happy we've finally got it! Highly recommend.

Great for keyless entry!

It never fails that when I need something in a hurry out if it I forget to grab the key and end up having to go back to the house to grab it. This makes my life so much easier because now that is one less thing I have to remember at my age. It comes with everything you need and the instructions are very easy to follow. I didn’t replace a deadbolt I actually replaced a standard key lock and it works great! If I had to change one thing, I would make sure I got the ones with the door handle on them. My office door opens out so pulling it open after I unlock it is a chore but I can just put a door pull or something on it to fix it. Otherwise, great product. Oh one other thing. It is battery operated but comes with a key in case batteries die.

I've recieved alot of compliments when I have friends and family over. It's very stylish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Powerbolt lock is great! Not only does it have a deadbolt lock and key but also has a key pad. This really comes in handy at my house because someone usually locks the door not knowing someone is still working outside. With the keypad all I have to do is punch in my pin number...and I'm in! No more banging on the door to get someone to let me in.

Good Keyless Entry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a solid keypad deadbolt if you are interested in going for a keyless entry. It is not super fancy like some of the wireless entry or fingerprint scan deadbolts but it works well if code based entry is what you are looking for. There is still the option to use the key in case you forget the code or the batteries die, so you won't end up locked out. I prefer individual number buttons but for aesthetic reasons, I understand going with the dual purpose buttons. The deadbolt takes 4 AA batteries which is pretty standard for these types of locks and you will get a pretty long life from those as this is not a battery drainer that will have you scrambling for batteries every few months. The nickel finish is nice and clean and overall will give you a good look on your door. The interior portion is made of plastic which is a bit light feeling and not as sturdy as I would hope but its not really a problem. Installation is easy with good directions and templates for drilling the necessary holes if you don't already have them. If you are replacing an existing deadbolt this fits in pretty much any standard hole so no drilling should be needed. This is a nice code based deadbolt that will give your entry a more modern feel. It does what it was designed to do, so I can't really complain.

My son is going to come install my keyless entry lock and I will be able to actually enter my home from the front door

it was very easy and so was setting it up. The deadbolt is motorized and very sturdy. It even autolocks after 30 seconds which gives me peace of mind. It comes with a key and for the keypad you can use up to 12 codes and 2 one time codes. I love the feel and the satin nickel finish look of it. Overall the lock
works excellent and looks great on my door. I am defiantly satisfied and defiantly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kwikset is a great quality product already. Read the instructions, got out the tools necessary and set it up on my door. Easy to understand, fairly easy to install. Requires batteries. Be sure to read everything as you want to make sure to know exactly how to use it and activate your codes. The satin nickel is a really nice finish. NEED batteries, ruler, screwdriver, hammer and a small block of wood maybe to help, protect from damage
