Following the instructions, only one user code can be entered from the programming button.

1. Press the Programming button
2. Press the number 1 button
3. Press the Checkmark
4. Enter the User Code
5. Press the Checkmark

Frustrating purchase

I bought this lock last week and after three days it stopped working. None of the solutions helped and it is still "frozen". I bought a new lock to replace the old kwikset smart lock that died after about 9 months. I think I am done with Kwikset for smart locks.

Horrible. DO NOT BUY

Absolutely horrible. I've had to factory reset this thing dozens of times. At this point it's no longer even responding to basic key presses. The instructions are extremely vague and don't match with what the lock actually does. It gives combinations of beeps and noises that aren't in the manual. Can't add user codes, and the cable that connects between the front and back is extremely sensitive and often slips making the front panel useless. This was a waste of money
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We're happy to assist you in getting your lock working at its best. Please open the door and place the latch in the locked position. Unscrew and remove the interior assembly of the lock. Tuck the cable into the interior assembly, ensuring that the tailpiece is in the vertical position as shown on page 13 when attaching. Next, complete the Factory Reset and Door Rehanding process with a quality set of alkaline batteries, then add a user code:
