So convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This keypad was easy to install (took under 30 minutes), and easy to rekey to match our current key. The convenience of not having to dig out keys when going in and out the front door is great!

Great Compromise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deadbolt lock is a great compromise between simple and convenient. My wife wanted nothing to do with a fingerprint reader, app, or capacitive buttons. I wanted a way to open or close the door without having to get my keys out of my pocket. This provided something to which we could both agree.
The Smartkey tech is great because it removes the need to get matching key sets, and setting up the lock to a new key is incredibly simple.
Great lock.

Keypad Lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock is straightforward to install using the provided instructions (it takes about an hour) and also gives the door a nice modern and upscale look. The lock itself is not noisy at all when it operates and works seamlessly and appears very durable and solid. I like the fact that a trusted person can be given the combination to use the lock for entry/exit without having to give them the key.
I would recommend this to a friend!

An its perfect when you come home from shopping an your hands are full of bags, instead of digging for you key just push a code. I haven't used my key since I installed it. Highly recommend buying

Great Lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had been in the market for an electronic deadbolt, and after seeing this one and knowing the brand Kwikset we chose the satin nickel one. The install was easy enough, took under half an hour. The instructions were very thorough. The deadbolt itself was a breeze to program and it you can tell it is a durable, high quality lock. I highly recommend it if you are needing an electronic deadbolt.

Works very good. No complaints, especially for the price. I did have some trouble with installation. Mostly installer error. Every part has to be installed in a certain configuration. Use all the new parts. Do not use any of the old locks parts. If your replacing

Great Lock, Finicky programming

So I like the lock and it works really well. I had a little trouble trying to input the first user code. After a bit of frustration I figured out that I had to turn the lock all the way around one time while it was disassembled. And then when I put it back together everything worked. What was happening for me that was causing the issue was that I would input the first time user code and no matter what I did it would extend the lock and retract the lock and then beep 3 times red. Once I disassembled it and turned the dial on the battery side one whole time and then reassembled it it worked. I hope my discovery helps someone else. Once I figured this out everything else worked fine.

Less than a year old. Totally seized and can’t use my front door. Don’t want to have to pay a locksmith to get me out so I might be taking a sawzall to it. I have pics but can’t seem to get the website to work on my phone right now. No surprise.
