You can hear the individual instruments!

We take this speaker when we go camping. In the tent we have a tablet playing a movie and the audio goes to the portable speaker.. That lets us put the speaker closer to our heads and not have to blast the volume(turn on PlaytimeBoost which reduces the super low rumble and lets the voices come in clearer, also allows extended battery playtime)
It would be great for vanlife camping as it is completely portable and rechargeable.

I have a newer JBL Extreme 4 speaker (just kind of a larger,louder version of the Flip7). It has the
Auracast feature which allows multiple speakers to play the same song...
I enabled it and WOWOWOW,it was like magic!
I could not tell where the sound was coming from.
The Small speaker was sitting right here,and the larger Extreme was over by the couch,
when I started playing the song to both speakers,you couldn't tell where either speaker was!
It was like the sound was coming from somewhere between the two. Just very cool.

The speaker can be controlled with JBL Portable App but you don't have to have it running to play audio.

I haven't been able to get the Auracast speakers (the new ones) to talk to the older Flip 4
with JBL Connect which is a bummer,as you know the more speakers the better!

I thought the Flip 7 would be very similar sounding to my old Flip 4 but I was mistaken,
the audio is much more “separated” and clearer sounding.
The build quality is still high quality,seems to have a smoother softer feel.
No speakerphone feature on this one,but I never used it on my old one so it didn't matter to me.

Most televisions these days have bluetooth which you can easily pair with this speaker.
Keep the speaker near you while watching tv so you don't have to blast the volume and
keep the whole house up at night!

I would recommend the Flip 7 to anyone looking for a high quality,waterproof,,small portable speaker or if you're looking
to upgrade an older speaker to the newer technology.

Big sound, convenient little speaker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing can go anywhere and everywhere. It’s the perfect size that fits in a cup holder, or any pouch designed for a water bottle, and comes with a D-ring so you can attach it to anything. It’s even waterproof. Most importantly, the battery lasts a really long time and I can go several days between charging with daily use. So it’s great for activities on the go and events and adventures outdoors.
It sounds great with a wide and full sounding range, and is very loud for it’s size. I’m easily able to turn it up TOO loud for most settings. The bass is amazingly impressive with these side woofer drivers or diaphragms.. whatever they’re called, they create real, physical bass that you would normally only experience from larger speakers.
The Flip7 is so easy and convenient to use, I find that I end up bringing it everywhere. Even in the shower, ESPECIALLY in the shower!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am remodeling a home that I purchased. I can link my phone to this Flip 7 and hear it clearly all over the house! It has clear and crisp sound and also astounding bass from a smaller speaker. I would definitely recommend.

I have many of their products and the JBL flip 7 is no exception to their quality engineering of sound products it’s truly incredible. I’ve been a musician for years and love, listening to music and this flip 7 as we Well, know it is very portable and sounds fantastic. The bass the mids and the treble are outstanding and incredible bass.I can’t believe such a small unit to put out the Lows that this product does I highly highly recommend this product

Another Awesome Speaker from JBL!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off the packaging. The package is durable and well made, not over packaged, so they are thinking about reducing waste which makes me happy.
The artwork on the package is clean and informative.
The Flip 7 is smaller than the Flip 6 and has beautiful lines and is very handsome.
It comes with an interchangeable accessories which are a loop and carabiner. I think the carabiner alone would have been enough. The loop alone is not big enough to fit around your wrist or anything at all so I’m not really sure what it could be useful for that the carabiner couldn’t do. They could have made it more useful if it was longer so you could wear it like a purse or use it around your wrist.
The Flip 7 does not come with a charging cable, and I think that is not cool at all.
The directions are easy to read and easy to follow.

Super portable and packs a punch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for an easy to stow, easy to use, and easy to enjoy speaker, then you’ve found a great one. The Flip 7 is effortless to take with me on weekend trips, it takes up next to no space and pumps out a ton of sound. The interchangeable clip system means I can clip it to my backpack and hit the beach or carry it outside of the main compartments. Perfect for a group of friends hanging out and enjoying some tunes. If I’m taking a trip, the Flip 7 is certainly taking the top slot on my packing list.
