[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product is a great size to carry around and the interchangable clips make it easy to pick how you want to carry it. Set up was incredibly easy on a samsung android device, it turned the device on and bluetooth on my phone and it popped up, synced, and led me to the app to download. The speaker itself sounds pretty good especially considered its size. It doesnt just get loud and distorted it keeps a solid sound profile through all volumes. This is going to be a home gym and workshop speaker (dustproof helps here) for me replacing a full sized sound bar and giving me the option to move it around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To begin with, Bluetooth pairing with my iPhone was effortless, and I was streaming to the speaker from Spotify in seconds. On low volumes, the speaker sounds fine, but not exciting. But when you crank it up a bit, that’s when the JBL magic happens – loud, this thing really rocks. Full tight bass, and crisp highs. No noticeable fatigue listening to the Flip loud. The button that lets you command play, pause, skip forward and skip backward feel solid, and works as described in the manual. The Flip is attractive, small, LOUD, sounds great and the battery is rated at up to 14 hours – what’s not to like? If this one was lost or stolen, I’d buy another. Highly recommended.

I love that this speaker has 2 attachments to secure your speaker to backpack or anything else. I'm really love that this is even waterproof, a big plus!

Great Sound, Rugged Design and Big Bass Boost

The music has a clear sound with crisp mids and detailed vocals and more bass than I've seen with previous versions. I like the added EQ so I can adjust my music to different genres of music that I like. Overall this is my go to audio source for listening in my home and outdoor adventures.

We appreciate your feedback on our JBL Flip 7. Please check the equalizer settings of your phone and set it to default. We also recommend trying to connect it with a different device or play audio using a different application. You may also try doing a Factory Reset. Reset may fix the issue, much in the way rebooting a computer or phone fixes many problems. And then you will have to manually re-pair again. To do this, please press play and plus buttons for more than two seconds. If you need more help, please contact our customer support.

Under water for a week

I got the flip 7 in camo over the summer. I’m 53 and I take this thing everywhere. A few weeks ago I was in the woods moving a tree stand and listening to music. Well, long story short , I fell 18 ft and shattered every bone in my left leg. Music still playing. So after 4 days In the hospital I got home and called my daughter to make sure they picked up all my stuff where I fell. Well they did and everything was in a crate in the back of my side x side under water. One thing still worked after being submerged for 4 or 5 days from rain. The flip 7 . It turned on and worked flawlessly. The dewalt impact was dead, Milwaukee impact was dead Flip7 beat out the two top names in the business. So it’s been a couple weeks now and I’m sitting on my porch , in a full leg brace listening to the flip 7.This thing is indestructible, best money I ever spent. Battle tested and approved in my eyes

Not Navy!

It’s a great product BUT I customized it and used the “navy” color way. It is NOT navy. It is periwinkle and looks pretty bad. Would recommend selecting your own custom color versus the pre-selected colors offered when customizing. Pretty disappointed honestly.

Worst battery life ever

Hunk of garbage. The battery last about 2 or 3 hours that's it. Charges like butt cheeks as well. They claim "14hrs" they lied... If I could rate a zero best believe I would . Get an older model when they actually used to make good products or avoid entirely

Thanks for your feedback on our JBL Flip 7. We cannot guarantee that a battery will last 14 hours. The time provided is up to, and how long the battery lasts is determined by volume and source content. The published up-to-playtime is the maximum battery time you will get when listening at background levels. As you turn up the volume, the playtime will be reduced, much like a phone battery when you brighten the screen. The same goes for source material. Music with more bass will also reduce playtime. It is possible that the battery is working correctly, but depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. Please try to charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boost, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to-playtime, the battery is working fine.
