This waffle maker is easy to use, and better yet, easy to clean! It bakes waffles evenly, and the temp adjusts for everyone to make the waffles as crispy (or not) as they prefer. It has a small footprint for storage, too. Great little machine, great purchase!

The waffles from this Cuisinart waffle are about 1/3 smaller than the waffles from my original Cuisinart waffle maker. The plates rattle around and feel very rickety, as if they are going to fall out. Also, there is no latch so the user needs to make sure the plates fit together after closing the lid; the lack of a latch is also a problem for storage. Two stars instead of one, because the plates are removable for washing and there is a beep when the waffle maker is ready.

Bought this waffle maker about 3 weeks ago and have use it 4 times. Did a great job on the waffles but haven't tried the pancake plates yet. Clean up is a breeze - just pop the removable plates into the dishwasher.
