I can’t say enough about this. The options for breakfast and beyond are endless. I’ve recommended to so many people. The dishwasher safe grates sold me, but the ease of exchangeable waffle and pancake grates made this my daily go to. From breakfast to lunch and dessert too. If you haven’t heard of a Chaffle you will want to check them out because you choice are endles!

I have always had a high regard for Cuisnart, but unit felt cheap, and the waffles were not that good. Used it just once and had no desire to use it again.

Works as advertised. Setting 3.5 produces an ideal waffle. Non stick surface is fantastic. I like that the irons are removable. No need to coat with oil.

I like the waffle maker except the top plate in the lid does not get as hot as the bottom. So the waffles come out brown on the bottom and a beige color on top.

Basically it makes waffles. Nice design. The reversible plates are a good idea. Especially for cleaning. But since the non-waffle side(s) have raised, cast rings to contain an egg, they can’t be used for anything else. You can’t have it open and flat on the countertop to cook on both sides simultaneously. To make pancakes or cook bacon, for example. The blinking lights and dings to signal temperature are nice. They will probably be the first feature to stop working. Lightweight materials, not as heavy and substantial as the unit we replaced.

Great Product; Browns Evenly; Pricey, but Worth It

After our 30-year-old waffle maker finally died, we bought a lower-priced unit. It didn't brown evenly and was small. We then bought yet another highly-rated unit and it was okay but the waffles were very thick and not what we wanted so we returned it. We then decided to bite-the-bullet and purchased the more expensive but highly rated Cuisinart. After two uses we couldn't be more pleased! It browns evenly and is easy to clean. We like the thickness of the waffles, not too thick, not too thin; just right (for us.) We can highly recommend it, if you can afford it.
