I had to dramatically change my recipe to get the results I wanted out of this device but that is OK. The batter had to be much thinner and I had to use twice as much batter as I expected to get the fully baked result. If you don't completely cover the lower griddle with batter, then the results will be sub-par.
We used the pancake plates to make pressed sandwiches - a new addition to the repertoire that we didn't have before.

I love the removable plates and that you can stand it up to store. However, I wish there was a locking mechanism so that you don’t have to support it when returning it to its operating position.

The waffles are crisp on the outside and soft in the middle, just the way we like them! Doesn't take up much room to store. Easy easy clean up since the surfaces can be popped out to wash.
One negative, it arrived missing 2 of the rubber feet pads. Hopefully y'all can send me 2 of those.

A little slower to heat, but not that much of a problem. I need to start on the batter after I turn it on. It made nice waffles that were quite tasty, and I will be using it often. I don't make pancakes that often, but I'm sure they will be tasty, too.

We cannot say enough good things about this waffle maker. It is easy to use, easy to clean and the we are using the Wayfair Belgian waffle mix and the waffles are fluffy and delicious. We use the lighter setting for softer waffles and have cut the recipe in half to serve two people. We have not tried the pancake maker feature yet.

I received this product as a gift. Have used it twice. I'm happy so far. This appliance holds a lot of batter. I like that the irons are removable for the sake of cleaning. I have only used the waffle irons. I'm happy with the features. You know when the iron is hot and when your waffle is done at the setting you have selected.
