Easy to clean because of grid spacing. Grid spacing big enough to put whole raw Macadamia nuts in and nuts taste roasted. Plates easy to remove & fit in dishwasher. Timer is nice.

It makes great waffles. Just be sure to use a recipe for waffles, not pancakes. Also the setting for wonderful waffles is 3-4. I tried 5 but found that was over cooked.
