It makes great waffles. Just be sure to use a recipe for waffles, not pancakes. Also the setting for wonderful waffles is 3-4. I tried 5 but found that was over cooked.

The fact that I can do a bunch of waffles and nice sized pancakes in no time is pretty great. I seriously usually make about 50 Everytime I use it and the time seems to go by pretty fast.

Good waffle maker, compact but makes large waffles. Have not yet tried pancakes. Only reason I gave it 4 not 5 stars is it feels a wee bit flimsy when you open/close it, so hope the hinges last.

I've been looking for a good waffle maker for awhile. I came across the Cuisinart youtube video for this product and saw that it came with waffle plates and pancake plates. I have numerous Cuisinart products and I love them all, so I figured this would be a good purchase. And yes it was! I love this thing to death. I thought I was just gonna use it for waffles and pancakes, but its' so much more than that. I make sandwiches on it, eggs and breakfast sausages. This is a mini power house.
