This doesn't take up much room on my kitchen counter, but it is solidly made and handles several different functions very well. I've made waffles, pancakes, and even fried an egg and some sausage links on it. It is so easy to use too. Turn the heat level up and let it warm up for 10-15 minutes and it is ready to go. Pour the batter on the waffle plate, close the lid, and when the green light come on it is ready to serve. You can fiddle around with the settings and the timing to make the waffles as dark or light as you prefer, and then just use those settings every time. The pancake plate can be used for pancakes, sausage, or even to fry an egg. The non-stick surface makes it easy to flip the pancakes or eggs with just a little bit of oil spray or light coating of butter. The plates are dishwasher safe too.
