Not 17\ mounting height"

I mounted this to a beveled-edge desk, which I would not recommend, as the mount really wants to lean forward (I also used cork underneath it to protect the desk, which probably didn't help either). However, after some adjusting, I got it verticalenough, only to find out after mounting my monitors (I used a dual monitor adapter kit after I checked to make sure this mount could handle the weight of the kit and my two dell 24\ monitors) that the mounting height is not 17\" as described

I bought this to hold an older 26\ 4:3 aspect ratio monitor that is very heavy for its size. The clamp on this is very sturdy

Easy to install

Easy to install, secures firmly to a desk but I had to add a spacer for it to fully clamp on a desk that was 3/4\ thick. There is some tilt adjustment but not much so don't plan on using it for that purpose. It seems to tilt down more than it tilts up

I am sure item is well made and works well. However, WARNING: the description which says this will work with \any desktop\" is WRONG. The clamp requires a desktop with a overhanging ledge of at least 2.5\" or so. Because my ledge is only 1\"
