I used this mount off of the side of my desk return for a 27\ monitor. It is well-built and the clamp can be removed for direct mounting to side surface (which is how I mounted it.) It holds my 27\" monitor about 10\" off of the desk surface. Easy to adjust and very sturdy."

Using this mount in conjunction with the High Stability VESA Mount Adapter Bracket for HP Pavilion monitors, Getting the mount attached to the desk was easy, but with having to use the Mount adapter makes for mounting the monitor harder since you have to slide the mount onto the pole by 2 small hooks then have to try and screw the tilt adjustment screw into place while trying to keep the monitor steady was harder then expectedOverall happy once it was together, But if using any kind of mount adapter makes for a troublesome install

Great Mount for LG 5K with some modification.

Using it to hold an LG 5K Ultrafine display. Very solid desk mount however the up and down tilt slips a little. I thin layer of cardboard acting a shim resolved.
