So happy with how this turned out - we got the 12x14’ and hired a professional to assemble it We didn’t need to anchor it because it is heavy enough on its own, and the loved feature is nice for the breeze at night!

We bought this pergola based on the high previous reviews for its quality, construction and looks. It sure did NOT disappoint! It shipped in 6 heavy boxes but it was manageable for myself to move them around in the garage where I did the majority of assembly. The instructions were very clear and detailed which was a pleasant surprise and they came in the box so no need to look online for how to assemble. The assembly was not as bad as I thought, I did most of the assembly myself and just needed another 2 people for only 2 steps while assembling the upper frame to the posts. If you have a friend or neighbor available to help you I would give it a try yourself and forgo paying for someone to assemble and install this. I did pay a professional to secure this to my paver patio however. Even though this is wind rated up to 75 mile an hour winds? I felt more secure knowing it was anchored properly. It looks beautiful once assembled and the louvers are very helpful and functional.

Excellent pergola

We bought the 12 x 20 and 12 x 16 bronze pergolas. We have one on each side of our lanai. They work great to help block the sun. We like the fact that they are aluminum and won’t rust. The company is very responsive.
