After much research decided to go with a Purple Leaf louvered pergola This is a very well engineered quality pergola Instructions are easy to follow and had it up and running in 3 hours, most of the time assembling myself Need a second person only a few times to hold it upright Easy to open and close

Extremely happy with this product

I have been extremely happy with this product I am a custom home remodeler in southern California, and I am inundated with requests for covered (or semi covered outdoor spaces) These spaces are extremely expensive to build conventionally with proper permitting, engineering, and the concrete and lumber requirements It is far too often a budget buster to build outdoor space from scratch Since flimsy vinyl or old-fashioned aluminum structures are not acceptable for the types of homes I work on, I was thrilled to stumble upon the pergolas from Purple Leaf They assemble easily, look great, and get the job done as a free-standing structure I have used this product on two properties already, and I have plans to use more I think this is a great product at a great price point

Nice modern pergola

We needed to relace aour deck and pergola and wanted something maintenance-free Also, my wife is fair skinned so can't tolerate as much sun as I can A contractor mentioned Purple Leaf We found one with a louvered roof so we could adjust it to see the sky or block the sun as needed Being metal, there is no maintenance and it has a nice modern look We've been really happy with it

This pergola anchors our recently remodeled back yard and fits the space perfectly! We did have a handyman put it together for us (took him about 4 hours) but it went together easily We normally keep the louvers closed to provide maximum shade for desert living, but hey open up easily We added string lights for outdoor dining We looked at a lot of options and we're so happy we made this choice

The Purple Leaf Pergola creates a great outdoor 'room' where we even keep a TV and small, gas firepit! We spend more time in our new outdoor space than we do inside This pergola is highly recommened!

Excellent pergola, especially for the price!

We are very happy thus far with our Purple Leaf 10'x14' pergola! We had a 2-man crew install it a few weeks ago, and it took them maybe 4-6 hours total including putting on the two extra shades The build is sturdy and beautiful This was almost an order of magnitude cheaper than 'name brand' pergolas we found, so we could not be more thrilled thus far with this pergola
