The product has very little pressure and is a total disappointment. I love my traditional plug in model however.

My teeth and gums feel and look like I just left the dentist after each use of the water flosser!

The waterpik worked fine at first then within 3-4 months then it intermittently stopped working. It stopped pulling the water from the reservoir through to the tip. The fix was to empty the water and stretch or move the white rubber piece responsible for water flow. I do not recommend the product at this time. Greatly disappointed since my family used the original waterpiks for years and this cordless one does NOT compare.

Power decreases requiring recharge after only 2 uses. Even at full power, it is barely adequate and not as forceful as cheaper units I have used.

Hello Paolilocal- We're sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with the power and battery life of our product. Your feedback is important to us, and we'd like to help resolve this. This model should hold a charge for about a month with once-a-day use, so this does not sound typical. Please contact our customer support team by emailing smreviews@waterpik.com.
If I had it to do over, I would not buy the portable water pick. The water reservoir is small and I have to refill it three or four times to adequately clean my teeth. Also, it’s rather clunky to hold. It would be much easier if it was just a wand with a hose leading to a larger reservoir for water.
Awkward, hard to use, messy. Hardly use at all. Which tip do you use, what are the different tips for?

Hello RLCj-We're sorry to hear that you find the WP-580 awkward and messy to use. To minimize mess, try keeping your lips mostly closed around the nozzle and lean over the sink while water flossing. With a bit of practice, your technique should improve in about a week. You can watch this quick video demonstration for guidance: https://youtu.be/l02dBOdOxtU.
