This is probably the 3rd water pik I've owned. I like it on the medium setting most of the time but I'm happy that you have a choice of slow & high too. One would think that, after flossing, swishing & then brushing with my electric toothbrush, there can't be anything left; one would be wrong. I can say without a doubt that my water pik completes my dental care magnificently.
