I received the exact same item for my birthday. I had ordered one as a birthday gift to myself but since I also got one as a gift, I returned this item. However, I have used the gifted item and it works great, I'm really pleased with it. Especially, because I only use it in the shower (since I hate messes) it eliminates me cleaning the sink and mirror area. I suppose a traditional one would be a bit stronger on the pressure but using in the shower out weights the benefit for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great small footprint. Water pressure too low.

Nowhere near the water pressure of my other water pics. Even my other travel unit. I can put up with a small capacity for a travel size, but I am returning it. I used it once and it's just not going to get the job done.

I chose this portable unit because it can be used in the shower, reducing splatter around the sink. My experience with this unit was average in its operation. I like that there are several tips to choose from in the box and, many professionals recommend that this unit can be used for more than one person because of this feature. However, the color of the rings to differentiate the tip is suboptimal: the choices are white and very light gray, not very evident to see the difference.
It was very disappointing that I had to go find a charger from my phone because Waterpik only provides a cable with a USB end that must be plugged into the buyer's existing power adapter. The magnetic contact of the charger is also not intuitive. This cutting of corners has me wondering about the quality of construction of this unit.

Replaced an older unit with the new model, disappointed that the charger was not included, so purchased one that matches specs, 5V 1.0A, but unit will not charge.

The first one had to be reset before each charge. Waterpik replaced it and the new one works perfectly. I previously used a counter model. I love the rechargeable version.
